Week 6 O_O

...I'm no good with essays X{...I'm going to read the writing analytically book carefully, perhaps it can help me in the future.

Sadness x.x
On the bright side, I went to Canada this weekend, and we went to see..*insert dramatic music here*...SAW IV!!! It was AWESOME! <3 So...bloody, and brilliant!!! What a twist it had!!!
And then, later, I saw a show...I think it was called "Paranormal" or something... It's about people who want to become famous magicians, so they have contests...and Criss Angel (and some other dude) is the judge! Yay Criss Angel! ^-^ Right, so this one magician person decided to do a murder mystery story thing...So, he wrote something on a piece of paper, and then put it in a plastic tube thing (the kind that you see in banks...)..And then he had a board divided into 4 sections... then he asked a random person in the audience...
*listening to "Haunted" by Evanescence*
He asked a random person in the audience- "Name a household appliance"...The guy said "Dresser." So then the magician's assistant wrote "dresser" in one of the sections on the board. And then he asked another guy "Name the most exotic place you went to for a vacation." The answer was "Hawaii." So his assistant wrote that on the board too. And then the magician dude asked another person "Name your favorite celebrity." The answer was "Tom Hanks."
*listening to "Maula Mere" from a Hindi movie, Anwar*
And then finally, he asked his assistant (who had been writing the things/ there was only one section left) to "Name a random time." His assistant said "3:13." Then, the magician dude took the paper out of the tube (the tube was hanging on a string away from him, so people knew he didn't do anything to it.)...and he unrolled it and it said something like this:
"The murder weapon was a dresser. The murder took place in Hawaii. The murderer was Tom Hanks. The time is in your hands." And then he told everyone in the audience to hold up their hands. And then he turned the light off (and that blue detective light stuff came on) and on everyone's hand, it said "3:13." :D
Tom Hanks murdered someone at 3:13 in Hawaii with a dresser... Celebrities these days... XD
*listening to "Mahi Ve" by Kaante*
I also finally got my art supplies...A few things, watercolor, a watercolor pad, some paintbrushes, Prismacolor coloring pencils, etc. And it totaled to about $100...Art supplies are expensive X{
Okay, I'll stop now XD
Sayonara!

Hi Poonam,
Don't be discouraged about essay writing - writing is incredibly difficult. The key thing is that you have really good ideas - I think perhaps you just need to be bolder about stating them, to start making claims. I know you can do it.
Saw IV. Wow, you're brave. I really can't handle horror-gore films - I'm a wimp. Have you seen Dark Water? The Japanese version - not the silly American version with Jennifer Connelly. Now that was scary! Not much gore, but loads of tension. Really a well-done film.
Interesting magic show! Reminds me of the film Prestige with Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman - that's a great movie. : ) I like movies, can you tell?
See you Tuesday,
Melissa
