Week 7 O_O

*right, in the last post...the magic show that I was watching, I think it was called "Phenomenal", not Paranormal >.<;;*
Well, today is the day of an Indian holiday known as...DEWALI!!! So, Happy Dewali!!! ^-^ Erm, Dewali is just a day where you light up candles all around your house, and...people say that, if you have luck on your side, and you hear the jingling of those indian ankle braclet, jingly things...then that means that the great "Lakshmi" has visited your house, and you will soon have a lot of money O.O...Well that's what they say, but I don't really care about that...For me, Dewali is a nice calm day, where you can go to the Gurudwara (Indian Temple), light up a candle, and pray for a good life with your family...and then go home and light candles around your house, have a special meal, and enjoy the time you have with your family... *sigh* ^-^ Yeah...
I thought I'd talk about movies in this blog too, since Mrs. Tamminga seems to really like movies! ^-^ I love movies too, but I never have the time to watch any... TT^TT. But there's one movie, that I really really love, and it'll always be my favorite. It's an Indian Hindi movie, called "Kal Ho Naa Ho ("Tomorrow may or may not be"...or something like that)." The movie is a story about a young woman, Naina Katherine Kapur. Naina lives in New York with her mom, little brother, grandma, and adopted little sister. Naina's father had commited suicide a few years before the story was told, but no one has gotten over his death yet (even though they pretend that they're happy). Naina and her mom always cry alone, and then lie to each other (No, I wasn't crying! ^^;;). Naina's grandma- Lajo, hates Naina's mom, Jennifer, and blames her for her son's (Jennifer's husband and Naina's father) death. And Lajo REALLY hates Naina's adopted little sister, Gia, because "she's not of the same blood." Lajo says that Gia is a curse on the house...But Lajo gives all of her love to Naina's little brother, Shiv (who is crippled)...and to Naina too. Jennifer owns a restaurant, but her business isn't going too well. Naina has two friends, Rohit Patel- a successful businessman who has no luck with women (but never gives up), and Jaswinder "Sweetu" Kapoor (that's two o's)- an obese girl who never stops eating... Anyway, one night (a snowy night), Naina, her brother and sister, and her mom, all pray that God will send them an angel that will protect them and bring them happiness... Just then, a young man named Aman Mathur, moves in next door (with his Uncle...I think). The next day, the sun is shining and everyone's outside. Aman goes outside too, and that's when he sees Naina, and falls in love. Then, Aman meets Jennifer, and invites himself over for dinner (XD). Later that day, Aman comes over, helps Jennifer cook the dinner, and acts like he's known everyone for ages. This makes Naina mad, and Aman notices. Then they (Naina and Aman) go outside, and Aman asks her "Why do you think that the whole world is on your weak little shoulders? I don't know anything about what happened to you guys, but you need to lighten up. You probably forgot how to smile, you poor thing...Here I'll show you: 1. 2. 3. EEE! *showing teeth* XD. C'mon, enjoy life, smile, who knows, 'Tomorrow may never come.'...AHH!! I'm such a genius! Tomorrow may never come! Oh, I should write a book!! XD" Later that night, after Aman leaves, when Naina's brushing her teeth (getting ready for bed), she wonders about what Aman says: 'Did I really forget how to smile?' She tries smiling in the mirror, but quickly stops because it looks more like she's snarling or something. >:D.. And then later, Aman meets Naina's two friends, and he finds out that Rohit is in love with Naina. But then, when Rohit was going to finally tell Naina, she says: "I love Aman!" :D (Rohit never got the chance to tell her he loved her)...Rohit tells Aman. And then later, Naina comes to Aman's house, dressed all cute, with a bouquet of red roses. She was going to tell Aman that she loves him, but then she noticed a picture on the table. She picks up the picture. It's a pic of Aman with a woman (a woman dressed in wedding clothes). Naina asks: "who's this?" Aman looks... "That's me of course! Wow Naina, you're not smart!" Naina: "No! I meant the girl." Aman: "Oh, That's Priya, my wife." Naina's shattered, tears form at her eyes as Aman tells her that he and Priya had a fight, and she moved to New York, and then Aman felt bad, so he moved to New York to try and make things better again. Then, Aman notices the tears in her eyes. Aman: "Are you crying?" Naina shakes her head. Aman: "Man, all you women are the same! You guys cry over nothing! Don't worry, it'll be okay, everything'll work out." Then he notices the roses. Aman: "For me?" Naina: *wipes away tears* "No, they're for Uncle." (Aman's Uncle) Naina gives the roses to Uncle, and thanks him for giving them the opportunity to meet such awesome people (Aman and his mom, who came with him to New York). Then she leaves the house, it's raining heavily, and she cries her eyes out. Then they show Rohit, Naina, and Aman, all three of them heartbroken. The truth is, Priya isn't Aman's wife, she's his doctor. Aman has a serious heart condition, and he doesn't have a long time to live. Aman's mom: "You love her (Naina) don't you...Why don't you tell her?" Aman: "I can't, Mom...For the first time, this heart has beat for someone else...For the first time, this heart is in love. But it's so weak. How do you expect me to give this weak heart to her? You couldn't take the news when you found out...How do you think she'll react?....I'm dying, mom..." But then, Aman decides that he'll try to get Naina and Rohit together. (Btw, only Aman's mom, and possibly his uncle, know's about Aman's condition) Aman meets with Rohit (who also thinks that he's married to Priya), and he tells him his plan: "Six days, girl in." Rohit: "Why six and not seven?" Aman: "I don't work on Sundays..." After their six days, it seems that Naina has fallen in love with Rohit, and everything's good until she finds out the "six days, girl in" plan thing. But then, Aman convinces her that he just gave Rohit some advice, but Rohit really does love you (Naina). So then, Rohit and Naina get engaged. And then they go out shopping, and bump into none other than Priya. Naina introduces herself, and then Priya says: "Oh! Naina! Aman talks a lot about you!" Naina: "So, are you shopping?" Priya: "Yeah, it's our anniversary, so I plan on spending all of his money!^^" Naina: "Oh, congrats! ^^ So, then Aman's here too, right?" Priya: "Aman? Why would he be here?" *Naina's confused, and so is Rohit* Priya: "Abhay!" A different man comes. Naina: "What? You re-married?" Abhay: "What? Priya, you never told me you were married with someone else! *playfully*" Priya: "Oh shut up Abhay! Ha ha one man's enough for me..." *Naina and Rohit: confused as hell* Abhay: "oh, you guys must be Aman's friends! *sigh* When I look at Aman now.. (Priya: "Abhay..") No really Priya, when I look at Aman now, it's hard to know that he won't live long...I'm glad you guys are with him, in his last days..." Naina is shocked. She runs out of the mall (Rohit runs after her)...Priya calls Aman, who was in the hospital. (During Rohit and Naina's engagement, there was too much excitement for his heart, and he nearly died...but his mom found him and took him to the hospital/ without anyone else knowing)...Aman gets out of the hospital...and finds Naina...and convinces her to marry Rohit. (And he convinces Rohit to marry Naina).. Right after Naina and Rohit get married, Aman's in the hospital again, a few hours away from death. Everyone goes to meet him...Then, Rohit and Naina are the last two with him, but Naina can't take it, so she runs out of the room and cries. Rohit and Aman start talking. Aman: "Naina may be yours in this lifetime...but she'll be mine in all the lives ahead..." Rohit: *hesitation*...*smiles* "Deal." Aman closes his eyes, smiling... Rohit: "....Aman!?" Aman opens his eyes: "I'm not dead yet, idiot." They laugh a little...Then Aman closes his eyes...And Rohit puts Aman's hand down, as Naina looks through the window... Then they show Naina, sitting on a bench, she looks older (she has streaks of silver hair, etc.) Next to her is a young woman. It's Gia (Oh, btw: It turns out that Naina's dad was cheating on Jennifer, he had sex with another woman, and she turned pregnant...Naina's dad felt so ashamed, so he killed himself. And it turns out that Gia was Naina's dad's daughter, so she really does have the "same blood." All of this was found out by letters that Jennifer had been receiving from the woman that Jennifer's husband cheated on...Jennifer knew all of this all along, but she took all the blame, she never told Lajjo...And then it was Aman who explained all of this to Lajjo...the last letter accidently came into Sweetu's house, since their last name looks the same/ Kapoor and Kapur...and Aman was visiting them, and he found the letter there, unopened...So then finally, Lajjo found out the truth, and she apologized so many times to Gia and Jennifer, and finally they were happy)...Naina was telling this whole story to Gia, who also loved Aman (when she was little)...
